I was reading a magazine this morning (11/11/2013) and saw mention of Lonnie Johnson. In college I had a budget CD collection that I listened to quite a bit with Matt Scholp (it was blues that the could tolerate). So, I was compelled to listen to some L.J. instrumentals.
I had wanted to add an acoustic blues original to this CD. My morning listening was all the impetus that I need. I think the fit was good for the tenor of this record.
